The people behind EuHealth Psychiatry in Salem, Oregon
We’re a small psychiatric practice at Lancaster Plaza — led by a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, open every day of the week, and built on a simple idea: good care starts with being heard.
Abdoulie Jallow, PMHNP-BC
Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
EuHealth Psychiatry is led by Abdoulie Jallow — a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than ten years in health care, six of them in mental health, licensed in both Oregon and Washington.
Two further credentials shape how care feels here: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-I). In plain terms, the clinician managing your medication also has formal training in counseling and in substance-use care — so if your story includes more than one struggle, you don’t have to split it across different offices.
However your plan takes shape — medication management, therapy, or Deep TMS in Salem — it begins the same way: an unhurried evaluation with someone who has time for the whole story.
-
Board-Certified PMHNP

-
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

-
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-I)
Dedicated training in substance-use care, for the struggles that often travel together.

The good hiding in our name
“Eu” is the Greek prefix for good, or well. It’s the same root you hear in eudaimonia — the old Greek word for deep well-being, a life that is flourishing rather than just functioning. We put it at the front of our name on purpose.
That’s why our tagline reads the way it does. It’s less a slogan than a wish — the thing we genuinely want for every person who walks through the door: not just fewer symptoms, but a life that feels worth living again.
Be in Eu “Good” Health
You’re a person here, not a case file
EuHealth is rooted in the conviction that everyone has the innate power to lead a fulfilling life. Our mission follows from that conviction: to empower you to discover your inner strengths, reinvigorate your spirit, and cultivate healing from within.
Those are big words, so here is what they look like on an ordinary Tuesday:
Unhurried evaluations
Your first appointment is a real conversation about the whole story — not a symptom checklist raced through in fifteen minutes.
Decisions made together
Therapy, medication, or both — you’ll never be handed a plan you didn’t help build, and nothing about it is permanent.
Evenings and weekends
We’re open 8am–8pm, seven days a week. If daytime slots never fit your life, see our same-day and evening appointments.
Care that comes to you
Telehealth across Oregon and Washington — and home visits when leaving the house is the hardest part.
Care in five languages
Finding words for how you feel is hard enough in the language you dream in. Having to translate yourself at the same time can make honest care nearly impossible. At EuHealth, you can tell your story the way you actually think it — in English, Spanish, Arabic, Wolof, or Pular.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes — and often we can see you the same day you reach out. Call or text 503-395-8614 and a real person will help you find a time, or book online whenever it suits you. Because we’re open 8am to 8pm every day, evening and weekend appointments are a normal part of the schedule, not a special favor.
Who will I actually see?
Your psychiatric care is led by Abdoulie Jallow, PMHNP-BC — a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over ten years in health care, six of them in mental health. If your plan grows to include therapy or Deep TMS sessions, those happen within the same practice, so your care stays coordinated in one place instead of scattered across offices.
What is a PMHNP — and do I need a psychiatrist instead?
A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is an advanced-practice nurse with graduate training in psychiatric care and national board certification. In Oregon, PMHNPs evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medication independently — for most people seeking psychiatric care, that covers everything they need. And if your situation ever calls for physician-level care, we’ll say so plainly and help you get connected to it.
