Not sure? We’ll check for you
Insurance cards don’t tell you much. Whether a visit is covered, what your copay will be, whether telehealth counts — that all lives in the fine print of your specific plan.
So let us read it for you. Call or text 503-395-8614 with the member ID on your card, and we’ll verify your benefits before your first visit — you’ll know what’s covered, and what you’d owe, before you ever sit down with a clinician. If you’d rather write than call, every way to reach us is on our contact page. And checking coverage doesn’t slow anything down — you can still book a same-day appointment while we sort it out.
Self-pay and sliding scale
You can absolutely be seen without insurance. Plenty of the people we care for pay for visits themselves, and we’ve tried to make that as manageable as possible.
Sliding scale
If the standard rate is out of reach, ask about our sliding scale. What you pay is based on your circumstances — call for current rates.
Superbills
If we’re out-of-network for your plan, we can give you a superbill — an itemized receipt you submit to your insurer, which may reimburse part of the cost.
No surprises
You’ll know what a visit costs before it happens. Cost is a conversation we have plainly and up front — never after the fact.
Deep TMS coverage works differently
Most questions on this page come down to whether EuHealth is in your network. Deep TMS adds a second question: does your plan cover TMS itself, and under what conditions? Many Oregon plans cover it for major depressive disorder, but usually only with documentation that medication and therapy have been tried first.
That’s a bigger topic than a paragraph, so it has its own page. And if you’re still deciding whether the treatment itself is right for you, start with Deep TMS in Salem.
What to bring to a first visit
Four things make your first appointment smoother — whether it’s in the office, at home, or over video.
-
Your insurance card — the physical card, or a photo of both sides.
-
A photo ID, like a driver’s license.
-
A list of your current medications, including anything over-the-counter and any supplements.
-
Records from your previous clinic if you’re switching providers — or just their contact information, and we can request them. This matters most if you’re moving your medication management to us.
Can’t find something? Come anyway. Missing paperwork is never a reason to cancel a first visit.
Insurance questions people actually ask
Do you take the Oregon Health Plan (OHP)?
Yes. We accept the Oregon Health Plan, including plans managed through Health Share of Oregon. Bring your member ID to your first visit, or call ahead and we’ll confirm your coverage before you’re seen. Our Oregon Health Plan page has more detail on how OHP works here.
What if my insurance plan isn’t listed?
Call us anyway — insurance networks change more often than websites do, and we may have joined your network recently. If we really are out-of-network for your plan, you can still be seen: we offer sliding-scale rates, and we can give you a superbill to submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Does insurance cover telehealth visits?
Commonly, yes — most plans now cover telehealth mental health visits much like office visits. Coverage still varies by plan, so we verify yours before your first video appointment. We see patients by telehealth across Oregon and Washington.
How much does a visit cost if I don’t have insurance?
It depends on the type of visit, so call us for current self-pay rates. If the standard rate is out of reach, ask about our sliding scale — what you pay is based on your circumstances. Cost is a conversation we’re happy to have plainly, before you commit to anything.
Do evening or weekend appointments cost more?
Not on our end — evening and weekend visits are billed the same way as any other visit under most plans. We’re open 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, because that’s when many people can actually come in, and we’ll confirm your exact cost when we verify your coverage.
Cost shouldn’t be the reason you wait.
Call or text with your insurance card handy. We’ll check your coverage, explain your options in plain words, and give you a straight answer about cost — before you commit to anything.
